A bowl of pasta
Sometimes joy comes from very ordinary moments.
Today I made a simple bowl of pasta. Nothing fancy—just pasta, a few mushrooms, some shrimp, eggs, and fresh green onions on top. I was not trying to cook something special or impressive. I was simply hungry and decided to make something warm for myself.
When I sat down and took the first bite, I noticed how good it felt. The pasta was soft, the shrimp had a gentle sweetness, and the green onions added a fresh smell. It was quiet around me, and in that moment I felt calm and satisfied.
It reminded me that joy does not always come from big celebrations or expensive meals. Sometimes it appears in very normal moments—standing in the kitchen, cooking something simple, and then enjoying it slowly.
This small bowl of pasta was just food, but in that moment it also felt like a small piece of happiness. 🍝✨
